The Ore City Fire Department was started in November 1954. Today the fire department has grown into a trained, well equipped fire department with 14 members. The Ore City Volunteer Fire Department is 100% volunteer. We provide a number of services to the citizens of Ore City as well as the surrounding communites. We offer along with fire protection, vehicle extrication, hazard materials awareness, fire prevention and first responder service.
